Reportedly, the “Botox child” Britney has been removed from her mum care over the weekend. Regardless of mum’s motives for injecting her 8 year old daughter with Botox (for wrinkles!!!! WTF???) and giving her regular waxes, it was the wrong thing to do.

Child protection officers concluded their investigation with the removal of 8-year-old Britney from her mother’s care.

Everyone needs to know that injecting Botox, particularly when it’s done incorrectly and not by an experienced doctor, can cause side effects, including problems breathing and swallowing, let alone the phycological damage when performed on children (again, for cosmetic and not health reasons).

They’ll also give you a hundred reasons as to why and every one of them will sound convincing enough for you to believe them… which only makes things that much more confusing…

Making a decision to purchase a professional IPL device is a decision that needs a little more than just an “ask around”. Opinions between professionals vary due to many factors. Experience with a particular IPL or Laser device may be just one of these factors. Mainly it’s a matter of personal preference or knowing well a distributor or manufacturer of a particular IPL machine.

The truth is is takes a little bit of time to learn about the physics of light and variations between various IPL machines and Laser devices for you to make an informed decision. Going by somebody else’s personal preferences is not a good business strategy.

As a general rule IPL is safer and softer on the skin that a laser device would be. This is providing you are being treated with a quality IPL device, by a highly skilled hair removal specialist and all the contraindications to your IPL treatment have been taken into consideration. We in our Melbourne Laser Clinic see many patients with various hair and skin conditions. Some of the most frequently seen contraindications to both IPL and Laser treatments that may cause a reaction of this nature include recent sun exposure, spray tan on the area that you treat or some antibiotics, antidepressants, herbal supplements etc.

The importance of a test patch prior to IPL hair removal or IPL skin rejuvenation treatment cannot be stressed enough, particularly for darker skin types, especially if an operator is somewhat new to the industry. Although usually hyper-pigmentation appears within a couple of days following an IPL test patch it is recommended to wait 4-7 days after a test patch for people with olive skin and up to 21 (!!) days for people with very dark skin. So use this as a guide for your future IPL treatments.

I want to share my experence with IPL which is really bad. I had the traditional Laser the first time and it was effective. The second time I went to IPL – which is supposed to me more effective and having less side effects. But the IPL left five dark burnt scars on my face . Now I am freaking out dont know what to do.

But definitely IPL is mush riskier especially for people with my skin type – I have brown skin and tans very easily.

IMP: when they do patch test wait for atleast couple of days before going for treatment. B’coz for me the patch test scar surfaced after one day.

but i still couldnt.

some say wave lenght would be between 800-950 but never over 950,some say best iis larger wavelenghts..s
some say we have cooler but only have fans for engines ,
some say my machine is pain free others say if there is no pain there is no cure.

i wil luse this machine for hair removal only..
